Learn to Skate

The Rink at Old York Road will have three LEARN TO SKATE six week Saturday sessions this season:

ONE: September 24th, October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th (Saturdays 10:45 – 11:45am)

TWO: November 5th, 12th, 19th, December 3rd, 10th & 17th (No November 26th) (Saturdays 10:45 – 11:45am)

THREE: January 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, February 4th & 11th (Saturdays 10:45 – 11:45am)

Price for a six week session is $150 (skate rentals included) $30 if paid weekly

SNOWPLOW SAM
This program is for children ages six and under. This program was designed to teach the basics of ice skating in a fun and safe environment. Snowplow Sam teaches and emphasizes the basic coordination necessary to maneuver on the ice.

BASIC SKILLS:
This program is for anyone wishing to learn the basic tenants of ice skating and is six and older. You will learn the proper technique to execute the basics of ice skating. Participants will also improve balance, strength and coordination.

Each class will be held once a week for six weeks. Each student will receive 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of practice time. On the first day of your session, please arrive 30 minutes early to register, get your class assignment and be fitted for the appropriate rental skates (students are welcome to bring their own skates).
